The sanctions will bar U.S. financial institutions from buying bonds from, or lending to, Russia’s Central Bank, national Wealth Fund or Ministry of Finance.
The White House also forced out 10 people, including alleged intelligence agents, from Russia’s diplomatic mission in Washington.
